The University of Kentucky will be soliciting proposals from qualified security integrators to prove and install a geo-diverse video management system (VMS) and security management system (SMS) and provide situational awareness to targeted areas on campus and event driven analytics to alert University Campus Police of possible threats to campus. This project will provide campus-wide camera monitoring, early warning system speakers, and other communication devices to monitor and respond to campus incidents. This centralized and campus-wide system will also allow for large occupancy structures or restricted areas to be outfitted with access control devices that will restrict ingress remotely from a central location. The project will provide the infrastructure necessary for proposed installations and incorporate or replace legacy systems to a single security system.
The Scope of Services includes the design and implementation of the VMS, SMS and all other security components including but not limited to a single ID card (Wildcard) operations and early warning mass notification into a one platform campus security system.

2343.1 Revise Sanitary Sewer on Rose Lane
The project will relocate an existing 12” clay sanitary sewer pipe that is currently located bisecting the middle of the lots 470, 468, 462, 460, 456, 454, 452, 450 and 448 along the west side of Rose lane. The existing sanitary sewer will be intercepted at the property line where 453 Woodland adjoins 470 Rose Lane. The proposed new sewer location will run east along Woodland and then turn to run parallel with Rose lane approximately 5 to 10 feet to the east of the existing Rose Lane sidewalk. The new 12” PVC line will include sanitary manholes as needed to provide connections for future development along Rose lane. All sanitary sewer work will be installed and tested following LFUCG regulations. The new sanitary line will extend to Lot 448 on Rose lane and reconnect with the existing at a manhole on lot 448 Rose Lane. The existing sanitary sewer lines crossing Rose lane in the vicinity of Transylvania Park will also be connected to the new line being installed. Existing Structures on Rose lane will also be reconnected to the relocated sewer line. The installation of the new sanitary line is expected to require trench rock excavation, temporary bypass pumping and restoration of sidewalks and driveways along Rose Lane. There are many utilities in the area and some coordination and possible relocations of water and gas service lines is expected.
