This project will include the rehabilitation of the remaining structure of the former Showroom Lounge on the Kentucky bank of the Ohio River in Owensboro, KY. Among other improvements, the project will include the following construction items:
a. Demolition of several existing walkways around the pier
b. Demolition and re-building of the existing concrete pier abutment
c. Installation of a new concrete topping slab
d. Strengthening and/or repair of the exiting steel structure
e. Installation of lighting improvements and decorative guardrails
f. Installation of rip rap for bank stabilization and debris removal (if selected as Additive Alternate)
g. Installation of aluminum decorative coping around the existing pier (if selected as Additive Alternates)
h. Installation of cast-in-place concrete caps on existing dolphins (if selected as Additive Alternates)
The scope of work includes the construction on Bratcher Lane of approximately 0.50 miles of two-lane urban roadway with sidewalk and related storm drainage improvements/ Roadway construction will include both full depth construction and widening of existing roadway. The project will also include relations of an existing waterline and water services/meters.
The project consists of construction of an approximately 10,000 SF, single story facility complete with associated sitework, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The building is wood framed with asphalt shingle roofing, interior gypsum board partitions, suspended acoustical tile ceilings, ceramic tile, VCT and carpet flooring, casework, painting and wall coverings.

The project consists of the demolition of the existing ballasted EPDM roof. Installation of a new single ply, fully adhered, TPO membrane roof will follow. New roof system shall include rigid board insulation above the roof deck. Existing metal flashings will be removed then replaced. Existing ballast will be disposed of on site.

The Kentucky State Police, Construction of Training Academy Building project consists of a Base Bid and Four (4) Add Alternates. Alternate #1 – The Administration Building in its entirety and associated Site, Civil, Structural and MEP work. Refer to L-Series sheets for limits of Add Alternate No.1; Alternate, #2 – Asphalt Turnaround and Concrete Entry Plaza at the Existing Dormitory; Alternate #3 – Pre-finished Freestanding Aluminum Connector Canopy; Alternate #4 – New Screen Fence enclosure at the Utility Area. The Kentucky State Police, Construction of Training Academy Building project as a whole consists of two new buildings and associate site development. The Multi-Purpose Building is a 15,201 sf pre-engineered metal building structure with interior space consisting of primarily cadet training, classroom, multi-purpose training room, dining hall, kitchen, and associated support spaces. The construction is that of concrete foundations, metal wall panel clad, cmu and metal stud exterior walls and two roof types, over the large multi-purpose room is a standing seam metal roof and over the support spaces is a metal deck with SBS modified bituminous roofing. The project base bid will consist of the site work to construct the curb lined asphalt drop off drive at the intersection of Transylvania Park and Rose Lane. The parking along the drive will be permeable concrete. The project includes grading, sidewalk, storm drainage improvements, and signage. There is also a curb lined asphalt service drive, pedestrian plaza, concrete steps with handrails, and site lighting for all improved areas included in the base bid.
