A brief description of scope is as follows: masonry parapet wall replacement, masonry pointing & repair, structural concrete repairs, new structural concrete walls, window replacements, metal stair modifications, canopy replacements, and removal of trees.
The primary scope of work includes the removal of the existing belt filter press system and installation of a new Rotary Fan Press system and associated features.

Construction of two-duplex apartment building, two single family buildings and two-quadplex buildings located in the city of Lexington
The buildings will include one and two levels and be constructed with wood framing, brick veneer, fiber cement siding, metal roof, and other materials required by the funding source.
SCOPE of WORK
General Scope of Work includes excavation and paving, concrete, masonry and, structural steel, metals, rough and finish carpentry, thermal protection, roofing, all finishing trades, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and Electrical work. MBE / WBE trades are encourged to participate.
The project site is located at 315 Roberts Road, Campbellsville KY 42718. The bid is to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, machinery, warranties, and all other items required to construct a metal pole barn softball hitting facility. Work to include, but not limited to: new minor site grading, metal pole barn materials, concrete slab on grade, insulation, plumbing, ventilation and electrical.
Green River DJJ Facility/ Owensboro DJJ Facility

The work consists of furnishing and installing new air filtration systems for two separate
locations for the Department of Juvenile Justice. One is the Youth Treatment Center at
Owensboro, Kentucky and the other is the Youth Development Center at Cromwell,
Kentucky. All fans, ductwork, fans, filters, filter housings, controls, electrical power, fire
alarm system revisions and certification as shown on the contract documents shall be
included.
RFB-205-14 Renovation Department Operations Center
Department of Public Health Cabinet for Health and

The project includes the renovation of the an existing office suite for the new Department Operations Center on the 1st floor of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Building at 275 East Main Street in Frankfort, Kentucky. The scope of work for this construction project includes but is not limited to: selective demolition, removal and replacement of existing light fixture, mechanical systems including relocating existing units, interior finishes including drywall, painting, carpet, acoustical ceiling tile and grid, door and frames, and accessories. The work effort will be executed in the spring 2014, see further schedule information in specifications. The building will be partially occupied during the construction work.
Lake Cumberland Youth Development Center

Project includes installation of a 250 KW diesel generator and 1,000 ampere, service entrance rated, automatic transfer switch. It also includes relocation (on site) of a 50 KW Generac propane generator and a new 800 ampere automatic transfer switch. A leased propane tank with plumbing by a licensed mechanical contractor is required. Two large concrete pads are required.
Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
Estimate:$351,500.00
This project includes the replacement of roofing on the terrace deck over the Lodge Dining Room with new SBS roofing, and concrete pavers, new masonry and stone seating walls are planned. A portion of the new roofed area will include a garden roof with vegetation in plastic trays supported by steel racks above the roof. The existing metal roof deck and existing lightweight concrete fill will be completely removed. New metal decking is required. The new work does not include lightweight fill. There is anticipated some steel bar joist repair that will be included. Work must be completed within strict time and noise restraints. There is no known asbestos materials requiring removal or abatement. Special Inspections will be required for this project, and paid directly by the Owner.
Glasgow State Nursing Facility

This project involves the demolition and removal of existing structures from the original Glasgow State Nursing Facility campus. A new facility has been recently constructed allowing for the older, original structures to be removed. The structures to be removed include, but are not limited to, the 4-story Sanatorium Building (Base Bid), a wooden structure known as the Smoker’s Pavilion (Add Alt No. 1), and the Maintenance Building (Add Alt No. 2). Additionally, the existing Boiler House/Laundry Room structure will remain intact. An existing utility tunnel between the Boiler House and the Sanatorium Building will be abandoned in place and the openings to the Boiler House and at the Sanatorium Building will be sealed off after capping off existing utilities abandoned in place as a part of the Base Bid. The tunnel connecting to the Maintenance Building shall be capped off as a part of Add Alt No. 2.The Activities Building, behind the Sanatorium Building, will remain in use and shall not be demolished. The Connector Structure, connecting the Activities Building back to the main Sanatorium Building shall be demolished and removed as a part of the Base Bid Work. Additionally, the project will require that Abatement of Hazardous Materials (asbestos) be completed as a part of the demolition work for the Main Sanatorium Building. All such work shall be completed in advance of the demolition of this structure. All asphalt paving, curbing, site structures, site lighting, sidewalks, fences, etc. shall also be removed and re-graded with new grass planted. Certain areas of the site will also be cut off and re-graded to assist in maintenance of the site (mowing) and to provide future access from the new building to the original portion of the site. The drawings define the site work associated with Base Bid, Add Alt No. 1, and Add Alt No. 2.
Contractor to furnish labor and materials for Lafferty Hall Tuckpoint and Building Exterior work:
Tuckpoint of failed masonry head and bed joints all elevations
Replacement of all damaged and cracked brick
Removal and reconstruction of the east planter walls including foundations and hydraulic pressure control
Repairs and tuckpointing of the front entrance posts and seating area
Removal and reconstruction of the surface wythe of the front seat wall
Repairs and tuckpointing of the side entrance seating and light posts
Re-caulking and cleaning of wall and roof coping capstones
Re-caulking of all masonry caulking joints on building
Cast and install capstones/coping as indicated
Final cleaning and waterproofing of the building exterior
Renovation of 206 and 207 Seaton will permanently divide the two rooms providing new entrances to each space. All finishes will be replaced and HVAC modifications will be made. 207 will have seating for 48 and 206 will have seating for 36.

The project consists of converting a former dormitory building, constructed in the late 1950’s, into a facility that serves multiple functions, both for childcare as well as teaching. It will serve both as a daycare and preschool, including for children who are vision impaired, as well as a learning laboratory for students of the University of Kentucky interested ion teaching early childhood learning.
The building contains a daylight basement level and two floors above. There will be a total of four new preschool classrooms, two toddler classrooms, and an infant classroom. Offices for the Early Childhood department for the University’s instruction as well as for the Visually Impaired Preschool Services will be housed on the topmost level.
Ag N N24B shall be divided into two spaces with pass through doors between. The dividing wall shall be a combination of drywall and storefront glass system to match the existing. Installation of audio video packages and new class room furniture will complete this renovation.

The Blazer Hall Living Learning Center (LLC) project is a short-term renovation to temporary house at the first floor lobby (a dance studio) and at the second floor (8 classrooms, 6 offices, 8 study rooms, and 6 support space rooms).
These rooms will be used by several colleges until new facilities can be built permanently elsewhere – this will be in 2 to 3 years.
The existing life-safety system and the 100% sprinkler system will remain fully operational.
114 Whitehall Classroom Building is a general renovation to update the look and feel of the space. The end goal of this project is to match other recently updated rooms the most recent of which is Room 122. A majority of the work is cosmetic in nature, however safety upgrades include panic hardware on all egress doors as well as new Fire AV’s in the space
The electric conversion of elevator, HVAC and kitchen equipment for the Franklin Co Fiscal Court Buildings located at 313-315 West Main Street, 321 West Main Street and First United Methodist Church building located at 211 Washington Street, Frankfort.
The project involves installation work along three corridors to include US 68, US 60, and US 421. Up to 31,000 feet of pathway and fiber cable may be installed.
This project consists of: Contracting for alterations and modifications to existing privately owned and occupied residences of various types and sizes in the City of Louisville. Acoustical treatments will be added to Sixty (60) homes to achieve an interior reduction of noise from aircraft. The work includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of existing windows, doors, mechanical and electrical modifications and related items required as part of the work. The Contractor is allotted nine (9) working days for contract work from commencement of scheduled physical construction of each individual dwelling. Contractor is allowed five (5) additional calendar days to complete Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) removal for each home requiring such work. ACMs removal work shall be completed prior to commencement of construction. The Contractor shall complete the contract within Two Hundred Forty (240) calendar days from receipt of written Preliminary Notice to Proceed (PINTP) by the Authority.
The project includes associated site development and construction of approximately 8,700 SF Kitchen and Cafeteria addition to the existing McNeill Elementary School. The single story structure will consist of concrete foundations, CMU exterior bearing walls and interior partitions, bar joists and metal decking with tapered roofing insulation and a thermoplastic membrane.
