The work includes the demolition of approximatley 36,650 SF renovation of approximately 22,300 SF, and new construction of approximately 50,330 SF to Breckinridge Elementary, originally built in 1962 with building additions in 1969, 1987, and 1990. Work includes, but is not limited to, complete demolition, selective demolition, removal and replacement of mechanical systems including installation of variable refrigerant volume systems, replacement of existing electrical systems, fire protection, fire alarm systems interior finishes (walls, ceilings, floors and base), door hardware, site improvements including new paving, classrooms, Media Center, Administration Area, Preschool Classrooms, Kitchen, Cafeteria, Mechanical Room, making the overall building accessible, and site improvements to include more play areas and new services, storm and sanitary. The work effort will be executed in three phases beginning in June 2011 and ending in no later than July 2013 and will be occupied during the course of the work

The work to be bid is approximately 2,813 L.F. of 8-inch, 215 L.F. of 10-inch, 805 L.F. of 15-inch, 18 L.F. of PVC sewer pipe, and 245 L.F. of 18-inch ductile iron sewer pipe. Nineteen 4-foot diameter manholes and eleven 5-foot diameter manholes. 122 L.F. of 12-inch bore and cover pipe. 420 feet of 12-inch bore and cover pipe.
The work to be bid: Complete furnishing and installation of a new screening facility, a new grit chamber, and piping modifications at the wastewater treatment plant in Greensburg.
Bid Package No.1 shall include all materials,labor, equipment, etc as required to complete all work at Foley Middle School Roof Renovations as shown on the drawings and specified herein. Bid Package No 2 shall include all materials, labor, equipment, etc as required to complete all work at Madison southern High school (Shannon Johnson Elementary) Entry Drive and Parking Lot as shown on the drawings and specified herein. Bid Package No.3 Shall include all materials, labor,equipment, etc as required to complete work included in the Madison Southern High School Track and Field renovation Project.

The project includes the renovation and interior fitup of an existing 6,000 SF building. The new use for the building will be for equine reproductive research. Equine Facilities will occupy approx. 2,000 S.F., the balance (4,000 S.F.) will include research work areas, storage and future expansion shell space. The project involves site work including grading, drainage, parking areas, driveways and utility trenching and backfilling. The existing building structure consists of concrete foundation, wood framed exterior walls and roof trusses. The existing metal roof is in good condition and only requires minor repairs/modifications around an existing brick chimney, which requires reparis, re-pointing and flashing. The building envelope will include new windows and doors however; the existing siding and trim will require minor repairs and repainting. Roof overhangs at large end doors will require repairs and new roofing. Interior partitions and walls are wood framed in the equine areas and metal stud and drywall in the balance of the building. Existing exterior walls and attic space enclosing occupied areas require insulation. New plumbing, throughout including rest rooms. New mechanical (HVAC), throughout the occupied areas. New electrical service and new electrical throughout. The project has a list of additive alternates, see appropriate sections of the bid documents.

The site for the Glasgow State Nursing Replacement Facility is located at the intersection of Lexington Road and the central business district of Glasgow, Kentucky. The site contains 27+ acres of rolling hills and is contained on 3 sides by established residential neighborhoods. All necessary utilities including electric, water, gas, telephone, cable television, sanitary sewer and storm sewer are readily available at the site. The structure will be a steel frame consisting of steel beams, columns, joists, and roof trusses. Exterior partitions will be cavity wall construction with a brick skin over rigid insulation, and metal studs with batten insulation. Interior partitions consist of metal studs and gypsum board. The roof consists of a low-slope built-up modified bituminous roofing system, and a pitched roof made of insulated metal panels. The building is predominantly single story, with a partial basement for service elements, and a mechanical penthouse. The total gross square footage is approximately 72,000 square feet. This project contains a commercial kitchen, laundry facility, and elevator. This project is seeking a LEED certification.
