This project consists of replacement of the packaged chiller and associated equipment at the RPC Phase 1 Building at the Elizabethtown Community & Technical College (ECTC) Main Campus. The work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following: removal of 200-ton chiller, installation of 300-ton chiller, replacement of chilled water pumps, the addition of pump VFDs, and the installation of capped valves for future connection to Occupational Technology Building (OTB) 100. Trades involved include, but are not limited to, the following: demolition, HVAC piping, HVAC insulation, electrical, temperature controls, and building automation system integration.
This project will replace all exterior windows and aluminum entry doors at Bradford Hall at Kentucky State University. As part of the window replacement, existing steel lintels will be remediated or replaced as necessary, exterior brick will be cleaned, all exterior hollow metal doors and frames will be replaced, new entry security hardware, and several new brick expansion joints will be added to alleviate the expansion causing cracks to open in the exterior envelope. To protect the building envelope, several existing trees and vines growing on the brick will be removed, and an abandoned mechanical enclosure will be demolished. A new entry canopy at the main entrance and a small canopy at the landing entrance to the Business Wing will also be added. To hide the loading dock that faces Main St., a new screen fence will be erected along the existing drive. GC shall work with KSU’s Campus Security system hardware supplier & installer. An Allowance shall be provided for this work.
The project involves reroofing work at the DMA – National Guard Armory in Brandenburg, KY. The existing approximately 18,500 square foot roof to be removed is a two-ply modified bitumen roof on metal deck. The new roof system is a Two-Ply SBS Modified Bitumen in cold adhesive over cover board over rigid board insulation system. The first layer of insulation will be mechanically fastened. Additional layers and coverboard will be set in two part foam adhesive. All existing prefinished metal coping caps, roof drains, metal roof splashes, flashings, accessories, and terminations will be removed and replaced with new components. Existing roof gutters, downspouts, and scupper collector heads are to remain in place. The project also includes installation of a new roof hatch and a wall-mounted access ladder
The installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity main sewer pipe, eleven
(11) manhole structures, replacement of twelve (12) sanitary laterals, approximately 120 linear
feet of 10-inch water main, approximately 200 linear feet of 8-inch water main, approximately 20
linear feet of 6-inch water main, 40 linear feet of 4-inch water main, eight (8) 8-inch insertion
valves, and all necessary fittings, in addition to maintenance of traffic, maintenance of flow,
restoration, all equipment and services required to complete this work.
The project set consists of HMA resurfacing, with milling and HMA patching as required, ADA
improvements, and drainage improvements along various streets throughout the City of Cannelton.
This project consists of surgical structural repairs and restoration including selective demolition and replacement of columns, selective demolition and replacement of masonry, and mass shoring and resupport of existing timber beams and trusses on new columns. Carpentry work shall be considered architectural and highly skilled in craftsmanship. Shoring is to be installed in a planned methodical sequence under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. Architectural work includes removal and restoration of historical windows, doors, and trim. Select removal and reinstallation of electrical circuits and fixtures are to be performed as required. Complete exterior and new interior work to be painted. Work includes minor grading, seed and straw, and drainage lines at the exterior.
The KVA – KVCN Roof Replacement project is being undertaken to replace a storm-damaged slate roof on the administration building at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. The roof will be replaced in-kind with a new slate shingle roof assembly, replacement of damaged sheathing, and new snow guards. Flashings, gutters, and downspouts are anticipated to remain in place.

In a previous project 2 portals were closed by sealing the entrances with blocks and mortar. One portal was used as a water supply for the local community. An overflow pipe and human access door was placed in the block wall for that portal. Over time the mortar has failed and the portal cannot hold enough water to supply the community.
The abatement planned consists of removing the old wall and pouring a concrete footer approximately 1 foot higher than the bottom of the existing human access door. A new access door and overflow pipe will be installed at this elevation and the remainder of the opening will be sealed again with block and mortar.

The 24019AMLBAML is in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, at 37°17’31.45″N, 87° 5’38.93″W and will reclaim approximately 47.5 acres adversely affected by previous coal mining operations. The project contains 12.7 acres of unstable highwall or unstable slopes. The project consists of eliminating approximately 5.2 acres of mining pits and reclaiming 4600 linear feet of highwall. The soil slopes above the highwall in some areas are unstable and migrating down slope and left unchecked would encroach into the historic cemetery at the church that dates to the
1800’s. The pits will be backfilled with onsite mine spoil material at slopes no steeper than 3:1 with transitions as required. Blasting will not be permitted. The water in the pits will be treated and raised to a pH of 6 or greater prior to pumping for release. The backfill material for eliminating the highwall will be placed with moderate compaction effort in accordance with KYDAML Technical Specifications.

Removal of a slide that has occurred behind Mr. Johnson’s garage. The
slide is pushing up against the garage with about 0.11 acres being disturbed. This will allow enough room to construct a 110 LF permanent debris barrier wall behind the garage. Along with an 80 LF high non-reinforced block wall type 1 that will be located to the side of the barrier wall.
Also being installed will be one mine portal wildlife closure that is located next to the slide area and two standard non-wildlife mine portal closures that are in the slide area.

mile of storm sewer pipe; 7,000+ square feet of combined hardscape, sidewalk, and landscaping; a
new utility corridor; 5,000+ linear feet of new curb and gutter; 500 linear feet of sheltered walkway;
and a new exit toll plaza with building.
This invitation is for the upgrade of the elevator in Campbell building as specified in the following bid at Eastern

The project consists of replacing approximately 5,450 L.F. of
existing 6” waterline with 8” D.I. waterline along US 27, 2,900 L.F. of 6” HDPE,
DR-11 temporary waterline and all necessary appurtenances. The engineer’s
estimate for the total base bid is $1,010,000.
The project consists selective demolition and subsequent renovation of areas within the Walton National Guard Armory located at 183 Beaver Road, Walton, KY. Work includes demolition of existing Men’s & Women’s latrines, removal and subsequent offsite disposal of existing architectural finishes, plaster and acoustic ceiling systems, ceramic tile and vinyl flooring, concrete slabs, doors, hardware, concrete masonry partitions, plumbing, mechanical and electrical improvements. .
New work to be performed includes installation of new Men’s and Women’s Restrooms including new metal frame partitions, new fixtures and finishes, new phenolic plastic partitions and screens, new individual shower enclosures, lockers and benches. Finishes shall include new painted gypsum panel ceilings and walls, new acoustic tile ceilings, new porcelain tile wall finishes, new MMA flooring and base, solid surfacing countertops and stainless toilet accessories. New plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, switches and receptacles will also be installed. Adjacent to the Women’s Toilet Room will be a Lactation Room with acoustic ceiling, painted gypsum panels walls, MMA flooring, plastic laminate casework, lighting, switches and receptacles. In addition one, HC Metal exterior door is to be replaced in the Assembly Hall.
