A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for prospective BIDDERS will be held at 2:00 p.m. (local time) on
June 11, 2013, at the Clarksville Town Hall. Bidders not in attendance at the Mandatory Pre-Bid
Meeting will be considered non-responsive.
Description
The scope of work includes the following major items:
1. New 18-inch and 36-inch influent sanitary sewers, including bore and jack under SR 62.
2. New influent pump station with six (6)-70 HP pumps equipped with VFD's
3. New preliminary treatment building with new mechanical bar/filter screen, screening
compactor, forced vortex grit basin, and grit dewatering system.
4. New Orbal oxidation ditch
5. Two (2) new 1O0-foot diameter secondary clarifiers
6. New RAS/IVAS pump station
7. New scum pump station
8. New odor control system
9. New chemical feed system
10. New UV disinfection system
11. Conversion of existing digesters to sludge holding tanks with new air and diffusor piping
12. New blowers to provide air to sludge holding tanks
13. New process water pump system
14. Reconditioning of one (1) existing sludge belt filter press and new sludge feed pumps
15. New sludge belt conveyor
16. New SCADA system for the new WWTP and 35 existing collection system pump stations
17. Electrical systems, including a new 1500 KW generator
18. I&C Systems
19. Demolition of selected structures and components of the existing trickling filter treatment plant
20. Other piping, structures, and appurtenances as required
