Description
The project scope includes a project with two site areas to be completed by the Contractor defined as “Area 1: Renovation” and “Area 2: Field House”
1. Area One is a renovation of he Band Choral Suite, Gymnasium Restrooms, 2-Agricultural Classrooms and an Agricultural Shop Area. Work will primarily consist of demolition and abatement work to allow for new construction for new masonry walls, acoustical ceilings, varied flooring finishes, new mechanical roof top systems, new electrical upgrades, new plumbing and fixtures in the restroom, and other related items. Additionally this portion of the work includes a reroof of a nearby mechanical building and rework of a maintenance yard paving and dumpster area. Alternate #2 will consist of additional parking in this area.
2. Area 2 is the construction of a new stand-alone Field House near the existing Athletic Complex that will include a variety of items. Roofing and ceiling components will include new lightweight insulating concrete with 2-ply SBS roofing systems and a new standing seam metal roof over metal joist and deck systems with a combination of exposed, ceiling grid and spray-in ceilings. Walls will primarily include masonry load-bearing, cavity walls utilizing spray foam insulation for the exterior and cmu partitions for the interior. The flooring and foundation items will consist of concrete stem wall foundation with slab-on-grade floors having a variety of quartz flooring, VCT and painted concrete finishes. Mechanical systems will be roof top packages with duct work distribution systems. Electrical components will include new electrical service and outlets while the communication/technology service will be primarily wireless for the facility. Plumbing will include all associate restroom and shower fixtures and lines which will additionally require a lift station and the ability to tie back to an existing lift station site. Parking and grading will smooth out a general area for modest practice conditions while having a good portion of the drive to the parking to be gravel in the base bid and providing an alternate to pave the noted gravel areas (immediate parking against the building is paved in the base bid).
Job Purchase Information:
A complete set of plans and specifications is available for a refundable deposit of $300.00 per set, payable to Ross Tarrant Architects, for up to two sets. We must receive a check for this amount.
Additional sets are a non-refundable purchase of $300.00, payable to Ross Tarrant Architects. We must receive a check for this amount.
There will be a $35.00 shipping charge for each set shipped UPS Ground. There will be a $9.00 handling fee for the use of shipper numbers (Fed-Ex or UPS).
Please note we only ship Fed-Ex on a customer's shipper number that delivery surcharges are subject to change.
